This notice explains how personal data is processed when you visit the preview website fairlane.legal. It is based on the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG) and the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection in force since 1 September 2023 (revFADP).

3. Purpose and scope
This site serves presentation purposes only. It processes no client data and no case data and is not legal practice. It contains no forms that transmit data. The question-and-answer panel and the ledger demo run exclusively in your browser.
4. Server log files
When you access the site, the web server automatically records:
- IP address
- Date and time of the request
- Requested page or file and status code
- Amount of data transferred
- Referrer URL (if transmitted)
- Browser and operating system (user agent)
This data is needed to deliver the site and to detect and defend against attacks (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, Art. 31 (1) revFADP). Log files are kept on the web server for up to 15 days and then deleted automatically. During this period the IP address is stored in full. The data is not combined with other sources and not used for statistics.
5. Cookies and browser storage
This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or marketing tools. Only two entries are kept in your browser's local storage:

Both are strictly necessary for functions you requested (§ 25 (2) No. 2 TDDDG) and never leave your device. You can delete them in your browser settings at any time. Should optional technologies ever be introduced, we will ask for your consent beforehand.
6. Third-party content
None. The fonts (Hanken Grotesk, Fraunces, JetBrains Mono) are delivered from our own server. No scripts, fonts or other content are loaded from third parties.
7. Question-and-answer panel
The panel runs entirely in your browser. It answers from a fixed set of texts and is not an AI. Your input is not transmitted, logged or stored.
8. Contact by e-mail
If you write to us, for example via the "Request access" button, we process the data you provide (such as name, e-mail address, firm details and message) to handle your request (Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR). The mailbox is operated by an e-mail hosting provider in Germany (EU). We delete requests once they are no longer needed, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
9. Hosting
This website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH on servers in Germany (EU). No transfer to countries outside the EU/EEA or Switzerland takes place.
10. Retention
Server log files: up to 15 days. Browser storage: until you delete it. E-mail requests: see section 8.

13. Security
Connections are encrypted (TLS) and protected by HSTS. A Content Security Policy only permits resources from this domain; no third-party scripts are used.
14. Changes
We may adapt this notice to legal or functional changes. The version available at the time of your visit applies.

3. Zweck und Umfang
Diese Website dient ausschließlich Präsentationszwecken. Sie verarbeitet keine Mandatsdaten und keine Falldaten und ist keine anwaltliche Tätigkeit. Sie enthält keine Formulare, die Daten übermitteln. Das Fragen-und-Antworten-Fenster und die Ledger-Demo laufen ausschließlich in Ihrem Browser.
4. Server-Logdateien
Beim Aufruf der Website erfasst der Webserver automatisch:
- IP-Adresse
- Datum und Uhrzeit des Aufrufs
- Aufgerufene Seite oder Datei und Statuscode
- Übertragene Datenmenge
- Referrer-URL (sofern übermittelt)
- Browser und Betriebssystem (User-Agent)
Diese Daten sind erforderlich, um die Website auszuliefern und Angriffe zu erkennen und abzuwehren (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO, Art. 31 Abs. 1 revDSG). Logdateien werden bis zu 15 Tage auf dem Webserver gespeichert und danach automatisch gelöscht. In diesem Zeitraum wird die IP-Adresse vollständig gespeichert. Die Daten werden nicht mit anderen Quellen zusammengeführt und nicht für Statistiken genutzt.
5. Cookies und Browser-Speicher
Diese Website setzt keine Cookies und nutzt keine Analyse- oder Marketing-Werkzeuge. Im lokalen Speicher Ihres Browsers werden nur zwei Einträge abgelegt:

Beide sind für die von Ihnen gewünschten Funktionen unbedingt erforderlich (§ 25 Abs. 2 Nr. 2 TDDDG) und verlassen Ihr Gerät nicht. Sie können sie jederzeit in den Browser-Einstellungen löschen. Sollten jemals optionale Technologien eingesetzt werden, fragen wir vorher nach Ihrer Einwilligung.
6. Inhalte von Drittanbietern
Keine. Die Schriften (Hanken Grotesk, Fraunces, JetBrains Mono) werden von unserem eigenen Server ausgeliefert. Es werden keine Skripte, Schriften oder sonstigen Inhalte von Dritten geladen.
7. Fragen-und-Antworten-Fenster
Das Fenster läuft vollständig in Ihrem Browser. Es antwortet aus einem festen Textbestand und ist keine KI. Ihre Eingaben werden nicht übermittelt, protokolliert oder gespeichert.
8. Kontakt per E-Mail
Wenn Sie uns schreiben, etwa über die Schaltfläche „Zugang anfragen“, verarbeiten wir die von Ihnen mitgeteilten Daten (z.B. Name, E-Mail-Adresse, Angaben zur Kanzlei und Nachricht), um Ihre Anfrage zu bearbeiten (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b und f DSGVO). Das Postfach wird von einem E-Mail-Hosting-Anbieter in Deutschland (EU) betrieben. Anfragen löschen wir, sobald sie nicht mehr benötigt werden, sofern keine gesetzlichen Aufbewahrungspflichten bestehen.
9. Hosting
Diese Website wird von der Hetzner Online GmbH auf Servern in Deutschland (EU) gehostet. Eine Übermittlung in Länder außerhalb von EU/EWR oder der Schweiz findet nicht statt.
10. Speicherdauer
Server-Logdateien: bis zu 15 Tage. Browser-Speicher: bis Sie ihn löschen. E-Mail-Anfragen: siehe Abschnitt 8.

Verbindungen sind verschlüsselt (TLS) und durch HSTS abgesichert. Eine Content Security Policy erlaubt nur Ressourcen dieser Domain; Skripte von Dritten werden nicht verwendet.
14. Änderungen
Wir können diese Erklärung an geänderte Rechtslagen oder Funktionen anpassen. Maßgeblich ist die zum Zeitpunkt Ihres Besuchs abrufbare Fassung.
